Here is what changed in the addon on October 30, 2026. Companion v0.4.14 carries all of it.
No more typing commands
The addon no longer tells you to type a command or paste a code. You get a button instead. Wayfarer has an Import button in its menu and on its settings page.
A calmer sync
Sync no longer reloads your UI by itself. When you step away, it asks first. Nothing of mine runs on a timer during combat.
Signposts and rewards
On Classic, the world map shows quest givers, hand-ins and objective areas. Objective tooltips name the creatures to kill or loot. When a quest offers a choice of reward, I suggest one.
Wayfarer and Hardcore
Vendor steps tick off when you actually visit the vendor. Right-click clears a waypoint. The addon spots a Hardcore character by itself, so it no longer asks.
Pull reviews
The safe pull size never goes above what you’ve already survived. I count only real cancelled casts, and I note when you ran out of mana.
