UI layouts
Coming soon. A layout string only works if it comes out of the game, so I build each one in Edit Mode, export it and import it again to test it. Until then, each card says what the layout will do, and nothing here is a made-up string.
- HealerComing soon
Healer, eyes in the middle
Healers who keep missing damage because their eyes live in a corner.
- Party and raid frames just below your character, where you already look.
- Action bars low and centered, under the frames.
- Your own health and target close together, above the frames.
For Retail, Forever
The string goes here once it’s tested in game.
- TankDamageComing soon
Melee and tank, low and tight
Melee players and tanks who want the middle of the screen clear.
- Action bars low and centered, with cooldowns in one row above them.
- Target frame and cast bar near the middle, so you see the cast you need to stop.
- Quest tracker and minimap kept to the right edge.
For Retail, Forever
The string goes here once it’s tested in game.
- LevelingComing soon
Leveling, map side clear
Anyone leveling with the PullCall addon and a quest tracker open.
- Default bars, untouched, so nothing you know moves.
- Quest tracker kept clear of the PullCall step list.
- Minimap and bags where they always are.
For Retail, Forever, Classic Era
The string goes here once it’s tested in game.
How importing works
- Retail
- Open Edit Mode, open the layout list, choose Import, paste the string and save it as a new layout.
- Forever
- Forever runs on the modern game client, with the same Edit Mode import as Retail.
- Classic Era Not confirmed
- Edit Mode reportedly arrived in patch 1.15.9. I haven't confirmed it from Blizzard's own notes yet.
- Anniversary Not confirmed
- I haven't confirmed whether this version has Edit Mode import. I'll check in game before offering a layout.
Your keys work today
Layouts move frames. Your keybinds are the other half, and that part is ready: a layout for your class with a reason for every key.
