What I’m building.
Getting good at this game means juggling. A sim in one tab, your logs in another, a leveling guide, an addon for your bars, a video for the boss, and someone in voice who already knows the fight.
I want to be all of that, in one companion. One download, from your first character to raid night, built a piece at a time. I write about each piece on the blog as it lands.
The pieces
These are goals. Some parts already work, and I say which ones on the pages that use them. I don’t put dates on the rest.
A guide that lives in the game
A small step tracker with the next two steps, an arrow, and steps that tick themselves off as you quest. It keeps working offline once its data is installed, and the plan I make on the server uses the same steps, so my voice and the addon always agree on step 7.
Routes for every kind of player
Speed, Hardcore, a relaxed story pace, coming back after a break, dungeons, professions or gold. Hardcore gets risk checks on every quest and a ready list before the dangerous ones.
Setup without an evening of fiddling
A setup checklist and a short list of addons worth having for your role, with the reason for each. Links and instructions only. I never install anything for you.
Keybinds that fit your hands
Bars and keys built from the spells you actually know, for keyboard, mouse or gamepad. You accept a layout in game with one command, out of combat, with undo.
Raid logs read for you
Your combat log turned into the few things that decided the pull: who died first and to what, the interrupts, the damage you didn't have to take.
Sims that start from your character
Gear and pull-size questions answered from your own gear and talents, not a template. One number, and the reason behind it.
A coach, not a chatbot
One fix for the next pull, with a name on it, and a nudge when something in your setup is costing you. Proactive when you want it, quiet when you don't.
A database that knows you
Quests, NPCs, items and zones that answer for your character: can I do this now, is it an upgrade for me, how far away is it.
I write about each piece as it lands, on the blog. What works today is on the guide, database and download pages.
