WoW Forever launch patch: what changed for each class

Blizzard raised class damage across WoW Forever in its launch patch, and raised the health of higher-level creatures to match. If you played the beta, some of your spells are gone or work differently.

This covers Forever at launch, November 4, 2026. Every number comes from Blizzard’s development notes, updated November 2, which I checked on November 5. If a hotfix moved one, your tooltip wins.

What changed, class by class

The changes most players will notice, from Blizzard’s notes, checked November 5, 2026. The notes list many more.
ClassChange
DruidShred 200% weapon damage, was 155%. Claw 140%, was 110%. Ravage 435%, was 350%. Rake and Rip up about 25%. Starfire base damage up about 40%.
HunterAimed Shot bonus damage up about 110% on all ranks. Aspect of the Hawk reaches 110 ranged attack power at rank 6. Trueshot Aura reaches 100.
MageFrost Blast removed. Ice Lance has an 8 second cooldown, shared with Fire Blast, and its bonus to Frozen targets is back to 300%.
PaladinRighteous Fury trains at level 10, was 16. Salvation, Mass Salvation and Revoke removed. Vengeance stacks to 5, was 3, and now needs Seal of Command.
PriestBinding Heal removed. Holy Binding replaces it: when Flash Heal lands on someone else, 50% of the healing also heals you.
RogueNew at level 24, Shank: 5 Energy, 10 second cooldown, can’t miss, gives back 15 Energy. Mutilate moved up to row 7, and hits for 90% weapon damage, was 75%.
ShamanLava Burst removed. Call of Thunder replaces it: 5% more crit on Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning. Lightning Bolt’s top rank up 80%. Stormstrike 150% weapon damage, was 100%, on a 6 second cooldown, was 8.
WarlockWrack’s spell damage coefficient doubled to 0.286 a second. Its base damage at level 60 is 86 a second, was 36.
WarriorSlam’s cooldown 15 seconds, was 18. New Fury talent, Reckless Swings: 25% of base health for 5 extra Rage on your next 4 melee attacks, on a 15 second cooldown.

What I’d do first

Shamans, Priests and Mages who played the beta: look for dead buttons on your bars. Lava Burst, Binding Heal and Frost Blast are gone.

Paladins lost Salvation, so nobody in your group gets that threat drop from you. My read: damage dealers should watch their threat on a tank’s first few seconds in a dungeon.

Action bars and bags changed too. That’s in what to check in your first hour.

Creature health

The notes I read give no figure for the creature health change, or the level where it starts, so I won’t guess one. More damage on your side doesn’t mean a bigger pull is safe. My read: if you tried a big pull in the beta, try it one mob smaller first.

How long these numbers last

Bugs and serious outliers aside, Blizzard plans no big tuning changes before raids open on December 9, 2026. It also expects a large tuning pass, using data from players past level 30. I’d build around these numbers for leveling, and I wouldn’t treat them as final.

Where the addon fits

The addon shows your rotation’s spells and keys in a bar above your action bars. If it names a spell your spellbook doesn’t have, your spellbook wins. Tell me, and I’ll fix it.

What this doesn’t cover

This table is what Blizzard wrote. It doesn’t measure how much faster any class kills, so it isn’t a ranking. It also leaves out most talent moves and the smaller lines, which are in the notes.
