PullCall Companion for Windows, version 0.4.0
===================================================

What is in this folder
PullCall.exe The app: a small setup wizard and status window, plus a tray icon.
pullcall-companion.exe The same core as a command line, for power users (run it with no
                            arguments for help).
  PullCall\                 The World of Warcraft addon. PullCall.exe installs it for you;
this copy is only for manual installs.
LICENSE, PRIVACY.md Apache-2.0 license; what the app reads and sends.

Quick start (about 2 minutes)
  1. Unzip anywhere (for example Documents\PullCall) and run PullCall.exe.
Windows SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC" because the app is not code-signed
yet: click "More info", then "Run anyway".
  2. The wizard finds World of Warcraft by itself (Battle.net launcher, registry, all drives).
If it does not, click "Choose folder..." and pick your World of Warcraft folder (the root,
or the _retail_ / _classic_era_ folder).
  3. Click "Install / update" to install the PullCall addon into every WoW version found.
If WoW is running, type /reload in game afterwards.
  4. Click "Link in browser". Your browser opens PullCall: sign in with Discord and click
Approve. The code is shown in the app too, so you can approve from another device.
  5. Log in to WoW. The addon turns combat logging (and Advanced Combat Logging) on for you
and shows a short setup checklist the first time. Type /pc any time to open it again.
  6. Done. Optional: tick "Combat analysis" to upload a small summary after each pull, and
"Start with Windows" so it runs in the tray after a reboot.

Closing the window
X closes the app. If you want it to keep running in the tray, tick "Keep running in the
tray when closed" on the status window. Starting PullCall.exe again focuses the running copy.

In game
/pc or /pullcall setup checklist (combat logging, Advanced Combat Logging, app status)
/pc route ... waypoints from the PullCall bot (/lw still works for older lines)
  /pc pause, /pc resume, /pc forget

What leaves your computer
Only your own character state (quests, professions, reputations, zone, bags, gear), the zone
and group you are in (from the combat log file), and, if you turn on combat analysis, a small
summary per pull (names, damage, healing, deaths; never raw log lines). Every upload is also
saved under %APPDATA%\PullCall\outbox so you can see exactly what was sent.

Updating from the old "Lorewarden Companion"
The installer moves the old addon folder aside (LorewardenCompanion.replaced-by-PullCall),
copies your saved data to PullCall.lua, and the app moves %APPDATA%\Lorewarden to
  %APPDATA%\PullCall on first start.

Updates
The app checks https://pullcall.com/downloads/latest.json at start and once a day and shows
"Update to vX.Y.Z" with the release notes. Click it (or run: pullcall-companion update) and
the app downloads the zip from pullcall.com only, checks its size and SHA-256 against
latest.json (any mismatch: nothing changes), swaps the exes, updates the addon in every WoW
folder that has it (old copies backed up under %LOCALAPPDATA%\PullCall\updates), and
restarts. If the new version does not start, everything is rolled back. Your SavedVariables
are never touched. "Install updates automatically" (off by default) installs at next start.
Every step is logged to app.log in %APPDATA%\PullCall. Code signing will add a signature
check later. Manual updates still work: close PullCall and unzip the new zip over this folder.
Verify a download with: certutil -hashfile <zip> SHA256 (compare with SHA256SUMS.txt).
Source code: the -source.zip next to each release on the download page.

Known limits
  - The exes are not code-signed yet (SmartScreen warning above). Signing is planned.
  - WoW writes the combat log in bursts: live zone/group and pull summaries can lag by seconds
in groups and longer when solo.
